“Mike Sorrentino“ is hit back with the counter-suit from Devotion Vodka!

Several months passed by after Mike Sorrentino “The Situation” filled a lawsuit against Devotion Spirits, alcohol company famous for their protein-infused vodka. And now he is faced with a counter-suit, which was timely reported by the TMZ.

“Mike Sorrentino” was hired to promote their brand new, protein-infused vodka. Devotion Vodka thought that his abs and name would be a good image for the company. However, Mike Sorrentino recently went out of rehab and said that Devotion Vodka broke the deal and they didn’t pay the money they agreed on. That’s why he sued the company for $5 million.

Devotion Spirits said that it’s Mike Sorrentino who neglected their contract and violated the deal. So they are hitting him back with a counter-suit. “Mike Sorrentino” is back …

Devotion Spirits claims that Mike Sorrentino “The Situation” was having serious drug problems back then. Mike was forced to enter a rehab earlier this year, because of the problems with alcohol and prescription drugs. They also claim that Mike was often late for events and there were cases when he was asking investors for marijuana. One particular case was especially interesting – last year in New Jersey there was another event, at which Mike Sorrentino locked himself in a bathroom and didn’t come out for quite a while.

When Mike finally opened the bathroom he was sniffing, and later security personnel were able to find powder similar to cocaine. Confronted with this news, Mike’s team denied everything.

In addition, Mike refused to participate in Devotion Vodka events and take part in the interviews, which were so important for the company.  He also demanded perks for his friends frequently.

In his report Mike claims that he received 8% of the shares, but they still need to give him additional 2%, as well as the option (worth $400,000) of buying back his shares and sales reports. He really thinks that the brand was so successful because of his name and he also states that Devotion Vodka always found excuses to avoid the payment.

Mike Sorrentino is suing the company for full 10% share, which is equivalent of $5 million, he says. This also includes “other damages”.

Devotion Spirits weren’t afraid and they said the contract was already terminated in March, 2012. And now they are suing him back for unspecified damages.

This news come just 1 month after the terrible Hurricane Sandy hit the shores and washed away very famous boardwalk, which held some of the show’s great moments on MTV. Jersey Shores show was first aired in 2009, filming a group of Italian-Americans in their twenties partying on the beaches of New Jersey. It was a big hit and its stars became incredibly popular overnight.

There is some gossip circulating that Mike Sorrentino “The Situation” started drinking again after 8 months since he entered rehab (alcohol addiction), but he says that all those rumors are false.

Apparently, one witness said that Mike Sorrentino “The Situation” was “downing so many cocktails” that he was having trouble standing still.

Mike Sorrentino – That was at the bar in the West Hollywood.

His rep said a different thing – “Mike wasn’t drinking while he was there”. Later Jersey Shore star, “Mike Sorrentino” talked with Ellen about his sobriety. Of course his buddies backed him up as well (Pauly D and Ronnie). They also admitted that Mike Sorrentino wasn’t very likeable in the earlier seasons, but when he was sober he was a really great guy to hang out with.

Pauly said something similar – “When we met, “Mike Sorrentino” quickly became my best friend. But as the years came we were getting more and more distant. That’s why I’m really happy to see that Mike went to that rehab. When it was over, “old Mike” was back.”

Very touching. We really like that guys support him, because Mike really needs it, and when Jersey Shore party will be over he will continue to receive support and feedback.

We hope all that he said was sincere, and Mike Sorrentino will be free of his alcohol addiction forever.

Ellen – Good to see all of you and congratulations, I understand you are doing very well with your sobriety.

How long has it been now?

“Mike Sorrentino The Situation” – Ehm.. I would say about 8 months.

Ellen – 8 months now? That’s great! So how hard is that, did you think about when you decided to be sober, maybe I shouldn’t go for another season because there is a lot of drinking going on the whole show?

“Mike Sorrentino” – I’m not going to lie, that thought entered my mind. But other thought was that I feel so bad for my buddies here (points at Pauly D and Ronnie), they are almost like my brothers and to go without me would be hard, I didn’t want anything to happen with them and I want to be with them no matter what they do. But at the same time nobody has the recipe for the rules of this game and I figured if could get by, I could be a great example while on the show.

Ellen – That’s really great. And do you see a different Mike, I mean, it must be weird – you’ve know him for a long time and it’s different now, right? (talking to Pauly D and Ronnie).

Pauly D and Ronnie – You know, when Mike came into the house, Mike came as “The Situation”. I never liked “The Situation”. But the real Mike is different. He is fun, he is active, it’s great to have him in the house.

Mike Sorrentino – It’s a really special year for me, you know, because something that was so hard to deal in my life, my buddies had to go through it. But now I feel stronger and probably healthier than I was since like 21.

Ellen – Good. Well, and the fact that you can still hang out, you can still do the same things, you can have fun and have the same friends and be strong enough to do that. I give you a lot of credit for that, because a lot of people have to shut themselves down completely and get away from it. Now, Pauly D, if I’m correct you are the only single one left, everybody is in a relationship, everybody is settling down, but you are still single, right?

Pauly D – Yes, and looking.

Ellen – Now what would it take to be Pauly’s girlfriend, I mean what are you looking for?

Pauly D – For me, well, I have a little bit of OCD problem.. all right, maybe a lot of OCD problem. On a scale of 1 to 10 I’m about 8. To believe it or not, how I tell if she a good girl, is how she makes her bed. It’s all I need to know about that girl.

Ellen – And how.. I mean what is it exactly?

Pauly D – Well, basically, if it’s neat, that means her whole life is in order, if it’s messy, her life is not in order and it’s messy, so you don’t need to run her credit, you don’t need to do a background check, none of that! Check her bed, I’m telling you.

Ellen – All right. So do you make your bed every day?

Pauly D – Yes, every morning.

Ellen – So you are very neat and tidy around the house like that?

Pauly D – Yes. I’m a good housewife.

Mike Sorrentino – I’ve heard that when you wake up, you first make your bed. And that’s how’s your day is going to go. If you forgot to make your bed, just call it quits after that..

Ellen – Really?

Pauly D – Even if you are running late – make that bed.

Ellen – Really? I have not heard that. Okay. So it’s breast cancer awareness month and I want to personally say, because.. it just seems silly to not ask – I will pay whoever takes his shirt off a $1000.

Ronnie – And it gets for breast cancer?

Ellen – Yes.

Ronnie – All right, I’ll do it. Will do $500 hundred each pec (points at his pecs).

Ellen – All right. So I’m going to donate $1000 to breast cancer.. you want to take it off now? Go ahead.

Ronnie takes his shirt off. Public applauds.
